Not so long ago on the webpage the Glossy Box team made us even more eager when announcing that Benefit’s They’re Real mascara would be included this time.
And last week I finally got my hands on the The Stars and Stripes Edition which is the third time that I receive this lovely make up subscription. Be prepared, my impressions on the Bellapierre lipstick and Benefit’s iconic They’re Real! mascara required thorough reviewing!

Und letzte Woche durfte ich die Stars and Stripes Edition endlich in meinen Händen halten, das ist das dritte Mal, dass ich dieses schöne Make up Abonnement erhalte. Seit bereit, für meine Eindrücke über den Bellapierre Lippenstift und Benefit’s kultigen They’re Real! Mascara beide erforderten gründliche Rezensionen!
Sumita Beauty Champagne Eye Shadow Pencil – Original size 13,20 € / 2,4 g

At first I was a bit sceptic about the Sumita Beauty eye shadow pencil, simply because I never really liked to wear eye shadow pencils, but this one really raises the standards! It is pleasantly creamy and you can apply it precisely and also blend it beautifully. It is super long lasting and doesn’t smudge or fade and most importantly from my point of view it doesn’t clump in the creases! The champagne color fits perfectly to my personal make up style and with its unique iridescent shine (which in some light looks decent and bright and in others darker and sleek) it can be easily used both for day and night.
//Im ersten Moment war ich ein bisschen skeptisch hinsichtlich dem Sumita Beauty Lidschatten Stift, ganz einfach weil ich noch nie wirklich guten Gefallen an Lidschattenstiften gefunden habe, aber dieser hier setzt wirklich neue Maßstäbe! Er ist angenehm cremig und man kann ihn einfach präzise auftragen und auf eine schöne Weise verwischen. Er ist super lang anhaltend und nicht verschmierend oder verblassend, aber vor allem, welches aus meiner Sicht sehr wichtig ist, macht er keine Klumpen in die Falten! Die Champagner Farbe passt perfekt zu meinem persönlichen Make Up Stil und mit ihrem einzigartigen schimmernden Glanz (welches in einigen Lichtsituationen dezent und hell und in anderen dunkler und geschmeidig wirkt) lässt es sich leicht für Tag und Nacht nutzen.

This nail polish definitely delivers! Although the brush is not the wide-flat design the polish can be applied super easily, evenly and without smudging on the cuticle line. This was the first thing that I found really impressive. It also dried very quickly and so far it seems to last as well. The color is vivid and lively, I think ideal for summer.
//Dieser Nagellack ist definitiv gut! Auch wenn die Bürste nicht das breite flache Design hat, der Lack kann super leicht aufgetragen werden, gleichmäßig und ohne Verschmieren auf der Oberhaut. Dies war das erste was ich wirklich beeindruckend fand. Es trocknet auch sehr schnell und bis jetzt scheint es ebenfalls gut zu halten. Die Farbe ist lebhaft und lebendig, ich denke ideal für den Sommer.

Since I commit an absolute make up NO-GO on a daily basis, meaning I use my foundation as primer for eye shadows (caution: do not try this method at home!), I was not really sure how am I going to review this product… but after applying it I realized all I have to say is that it works wonderfully. Easy to apply (I use my finger to blend it), lasts long and makes my eye shadow really pops out!
//Da ich ein absolutes Make Up NO-GO auf einer täglichen Basis begehe, was bedeutet das ich mit meine Grundierung als Primer für Lidschatten benutze (Vorsicht: Versuche diese Methode nicht zu Hause!), war ich nicht wirklich sicher, wie ich nun dieses Produkt bewerte… aber nach dem Auftragen habe ich gemerkt, alles was ich sagen kann ist, dass es wunderbar funktioniert. Einfach in der Anwendung (Ich benutze meine Finger zum verwischen), sehr langanhaltend und lässt meinen Lidschatten hervorstechen.

Bellapierre Cosmetics LTD Mineral Lipstick – Original size 19,99 € / 3,5 g
I received the product in color “Ruby” which unfortunately does not really correspond to my beauty profile, but oh well I might just wear red lipstick a bit more often. First of all, it has an intense and very natural vanilla smell, which again for me is pretty unfortunate since I do not like the taste nor smell of vanilla. Objectively viewed the scent is not bad, perhaps a bit too strong. The color is nice and even on the lips, fairly long-lasting, withstands average liquid consumption for a few hours. In the fine creases around the lip the color runs out slightly, but pretty quickly so it has to be used with a normal or white lip pencil. At first the wear felt a bit greasy, like a lip balm, but surprisingly light and during the day it didn’t dry too much out. A big minus for me is the packaging, which is WAY under the quality of this price category! The design looks a bit tacky and the plastic feels too light and cheap like if it would break immediately if I put it into my bag. What a pity.
//Ich erhielt dieses Produkt in Farbe "Ruby", welches leider nicht mit meinem Beauty Profil übereinstimmt, aber naja, ich werde eventuell roten Lippenstift nun ein wenig häufiger tragen. Erst einmal, es hat einen intensiven und sehr natürlichen Vanille Duft, der auch wieder für mich ziemlich bedauerlich ist, da ich weder gerne den Geschmack noch Geruch von Vanille mag. Objektiv gesehen der Duft ist nicht schlecht, vielleicht ein bisschen zu stark. Die Farbe ist schön und sogar auf den Lippen ziemlich lang anhaltend, für ein paar Stunden beständig gegen durchschnittliche Flüssigkeitszunahme . In den feinen Fältchen um die Lippen die Farbe läuft leicht nach außen, aber ziemlich schnell, also muss es mit einem normalen oder weißen Lippenkonturenstift verwendet werden. Als erstes die Benutzung fühlte sich etwas fettig an, wie ein Lip Balm, aber überraschend leicht und im Laufe des Tages trocknet es nicht zu sehr aus. Ein großes Minus für mich ist die Verpackung, die weit unter der Qualität dieser Preisklasse liegt! Das Design wirkt ein wenig stillos und das Plastik fühlt sich auch leicht und billig an, als wenn es sofort kaputt gehen würde, wenn ich es in meine Tasche tun würde. Schade.

Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Mascara – Sample size 3 g (Original product 24,50 € / 8,5 g)
Finally! I have it in my hands! I applied it with sky-high expectations…and it is pretty much in the neighborhood. However, to be able to go on I have to state that the definition of “natural” in the case of eyelashes can be different, I will subjectively elaborate on this a bit.
The photos do not truly justify the extreme length the mascara gives. It’s just crazy. It is not clumpy, sticky, it doesn’t smudge while applying or while wearing, it dries super quickly but doesn’t dry the lashes out at the end of the day. I even tried to rub my eyes to see what would happen to it. Well, not much.
Yes, it has the rubber applicator with the little spikes. I know that for quite few people this causes difficulties and they often give lousy reviews of the mascara. I switched to this type of applicator many years ago, and I think it helps to apply a lot less product a lot more effectively and precisely. Loving it is easy, on just have to practice!
For its qualities in the field of “volume” I would give it a minus one if I could. NO volume effect at all. I even had the feeling that my lashes looked LESS full than without mascara. This aspect on the other hand is very dependent on taste. If you are aiming for a “manga”, “doll”, or simple eyes look for strong lips I cannot imagine a better mascara, it opens the eyes beautifully! But all this backfires a bit, since people who saw me and I both had the feeling that it made me look like if I would have worn fake lashes! Not so real… In my opinion fuller than long lashes look a lot more natural.
And in the end I’m standing here with somewhat mixed feelings, like when you see those red 12 cm high sandals with super thin straps at the front and just satin ribbons to hold your feet, it is gorgeous and slightly useless at the same time…but you have to have it!
ps. Would I buy and recommend They’re Real!: ABSOLUTELY! - Would I use it often and does it fit to a wide taste: no.
Endlich ist es soweit! Ich habe es in meinen Händen! Ich hatte himmelshohe Erwartungen… und es ist so ziemlich in der Nähe. Allerdings, um in der Lage zu sein hier weitergehen zu können muss ich sagen, dass die Definition von "natürlich" im Falle von Wimpern unterschiedlich sein kann, ich werde subjektiv näher auf dies ein wenig eingehen.
Die Fotos geben nicht wirklich die extreme Länge die der Mascara macht her. Es ist einfach verrückt. Es ist nicht klumpig, klebrig, es verschmiert nicht während der Anwendung oder beim Tragen, er trocknet super schnell, aber trocknet nicht die Wimpern am Ende des Tages aus. Ich versuchte auch meine Augen zu reiben um zu sehen was passieren würde. Also, nicht viel.
Ja, er hat den Gummi Applikator mit den kleinen Stacheln. Ich weiß, dass es für einige Menschen zu Schwierigkeiten führt und Sie erteilen oft miese Bewertungen für den Mascara. Ich wechselte zu dieser Art von Applikator vor vielen Jahren, und ich denke es hilft so viel weniger Produkt viel besser und genauer aufzutragen. Es zu lieben ist einfach, bloß nur üben!
Für seine Qualitäten im Bereich "Volumen" würde ich ein Minus erteilen, wenn ich könnte. Überhaupt kein Volumen. Ich hatte sogar das Gefühl, dass meine Wimpern weniger voll aussahen als ohne Mascara. Dieser Aspekt auf der anderen Seite ist sehr abhängig vom Geschmack. Wenn du ein "Manga", "Doll", oder einen einfach Augen Look erwünschst für starke Lippen, ich kann mir keinen besseren Mascara vorstellen , er öffnet die Augen auf schöne Weise! Doch all dies schlägt ein bisschen fehl, da Menschen, die mich sahen, und ich selbst hatte das Gefühl, dass es mich aussehen lässt als würde ich falsche Wimpern tragen! Nicht so authentisch…Meiner Meinung nach besser volle als lange Wimpern, es wirkt sehr viel natürlicher.
Und am Ende stehe ich hier mit etwas gemischten Gefühlen, wie als wenn du diese roten 12 cm hohen Sandalen siehst mit super dünnen Riemen an der Vorderseite und nur Satinbänder halten deine Füße, es ist toll und leicht nutzlos zur gleichen Zeit…aber du musst sie haben!
Ps. Würde ich „They’re Rea!“ kaufen und empfehlen : JA, ABSOLUT! - Würde ich es oft benutzen und passt es zu einem breiten Geschmack: Nein.
