This military styled vintage coat has been a gift from my aunt a few years ago, and somehow since then I always had the opportunity to incorporate it to the current trends. This has been no different this outgoing winter season and I will definitely be able to use it a lot until the warm weather arrives to the western parts of Germany. What I like most about such long coats is that they can look edgy and somewhat more rough or soft and feminine all depending on the styling and color scheme. I went for a sturdier, real city walking look this time, since I often have to commute longer distances from my university town to bigger cities for shopping and afternoon fun.
The little Primark bag was a real lucky find for me, because it is a slight duplicate of Fendi's Micro Peekaboo, which has won the Vogue.com "It Bag" Elections (my post about the other candidates and the whole voting here) this year. I really like the way this small little bag looks and although, I usually carry a lot of things in my big totes with me, I can somehow manage with this size so well. I can definitely recommend it!
I have to excuse myself a bit, since I am making a bit mean looking face on almost all of the photos, but the sun was shining so strong on the day we took the pictures, that it pierced right through my sunglasses. Just the usual small battles if you are blogging, for example you have to be weather proof...I still might need to work on that. In two days I am taking part at a special event, from which I am going to share a lot of picture with you guys. Stay tuned!
//Dieser Militär gestylte Vintage-Mantel war vor einigen Jahren ein Geschenk meiner Tante, und seit dem hatte ich immer die Möglichkeit es zu den aktuellen Trends anzupassen. Dies war auch nicht anders in dieser zuende gehenden Wintersaison und ich werde es auf jedenfall noch tragen können bis das warme Wetter im westlichen Teil Deutschlands ankommt. Was ich am meisten an solchen langen Mäntel mag ist, dass sie ausgefallen und etwas hart aussehen können oder sanft und feminin, alles abhängig von dem Styling und Farbschema. Ich hab mich für einen eher kräftigeren, richtigen Stadtbummler-Look entschieden, weil ich öftes lange Strecken von meiner Universitätsstadt zu anderen größeren Städten für Shopping und nachmittags Vergnügen reise. Die kleine Primark Tasche war ein richtiger Glücksfund für mich, weil es eine leichte Kopie von Fendi's Micro Peekaboo ist, welche die Vogue.com „It Bag“ Wahl dieses Jahr gewonnen hat (mein Post über die anderen Kanditaten und das ganze Voting hier). Ich mag wirklich wie diese schmale kleine Tasche aussieht und, obwohl ich normalerweise viele Sache in meinen großen Tachen bei mir trage, ich kann irgendwie mit dieser Größe recht gut zurecht kommen. Ich kann es auf jeden fall empfehlen!
Ich muss mich etwas endschuldigen, das ich auf fast allen Fotos etwas böse gucke, aber die Sonne war so extrem stark an dem Tag wo wir die Fotos machten, dass sie direkt durch meine Sonnenbrille durchstieß. Nur die kleinen normalen Kämpfe wenn du bloggst, zum Beispiel muss man Wetterbeständig sein... Ich muss daran vielleicht noch etwas arbeiten. In zwei Tagen werde ich an einem spieziellen Event teilnehmen, von welchem ich viele Bilder mit euch teilen werde. Bleibt auf dem laufenden!
